The Bubblegum Babes Guide to Sixth Grade - Review
This is one book that I would have cherished as a little girl.
The Bubblegum Babes' Guide to Sixth Grade is the first in a
series designed for young people growing up in today's
fast-paced and high-pressure world. Doreen Lewis wrote it
so that each chapter can be read as a complete story on its
own - perfect for pre-teens that like to read small sections at
a time. An award winning author and mother of two, Doreen
writes with clarity and energy and draws upon her life for
inspiration in her work. Her own personality is revealed
nicely in the Acknowledgement and About Author sections in
the book. The main character, Kelly, takes the reader through
adventures with her three best friends. They dub
themselves the Bubblegum Babes after an evening of
giggles and make-up. The four girls experience and
discuss many things that aren't easy to talk about in
everyday life. Excellent advice is interwoven into each tale
from how to maintain friendships, the mysteries of
menstruation and the complexity of discovering an interest
in boys. Starting with their nervous beginnings in a new school year
right through to the graduation dance, The Bubblegum
Babes will have you wishing you were one of them. ISBN#: 0976919303

Albany, NY Family History Reference Now Available Thanks To Author Joseph Yakel
"Personal research references, especially for families who once lived in the South End area of Albany, are very difficult to come by", said Yakel. "Lower Albany had a very strong mix of European immigrants, especially Germans, throughout the 19th century. These were spirited, hard working people, that helped to build the city's distinction through their values and all kinds of family run businesses", he explained. "Unfortunately, unlike other parts of the city, such as the Central Avenue thoroughfare and the downtown district of Pearl Street, documentation relative to much of the South End, especially around the Second Avenue area, is far and few between."
James Martells Methods and Yahoo
In James Martell's Affiliate Handbook, he mentions that he focuses on optimizing almost exclusively for Google, since they get the bulk of search engine traffic. But there's been a little bit of controversy lately about some of James's sites being penalized by Google. My personal suspicion is that his sites were excessively cross-linked, and some of them might have had duplicated content. But one of the things I have noticed is that the Martell sites are doing very well in Yahoo.

Jim Edwards and Joe Vitale who are both well known in the Internet online industry wrote this eBook. The 2004 version of this book is 206 pages long though it should be mentioned that less than 100 pages are concentrated on the theme of the eBook whereas the rest of the eBook involves interviews with various successful eBook authors (in the eyes of Edwards and Vitale) and bonus reports.
