Sportcraft Treadmills
Sportcraft Treadmills - Lowww End Sportcraft treadmills are late entries from Sportcraft, Ltd. A long-time producer of indoor and outdoor games and sports equipment and darling of mass-market chains like K-Mart, Wal Mart, and Target, all of which have named it a vendor or supplier of the year. As might be expected from a company servicing the discount market, Sportcraft treadmill models are low-end. Sport Craft currently offers ten models, including the Power Swing II, a combination treadmill and arm pulley system available at Wal Mart. Top-of-the-line is the TX 795. Belts And Pulleys The Sport Craft TX795 is equipped with a 3.0 HP motor for speeds up to 12MPH and powered incline. One-touch buttons control incline and speed. The TX795 treadbelt is 19.5x57" and the cushioned deck supports up to 300 lbs. Programming includes six preset workouts and a grip pulse gives readouts of heat rate along with displays of time, distance, and lap count. The Sportcraft TX795 has a fold-away design. The Power Swing II has a 2.25 HP motor and can go up to 10MPH. Its deck adjusts to three positions and has a cushioned walking surface of 16x50", pretty small. Its main feature, however, is the pulley system affixed to the tail end allowing the user to get an upper-body workout by pulling on the pulley handles while walking. Hmmm. It goes for under $600 at Wal Mart. Warranties on Sport Craft treadmills cover the frame for lifetime, the motor for 10 years, parts for 1 year and labor for 90 days. More information and reviews on a full range of leading treadmills can be found at Best Treadmill Guide

Hug Your Customers - AchieveMax® Top Ten Book Review
Don't panic. Jack Mitchell, the author of Hug Your Customers: The Proven Way to Personalize Sales and Achieve Astounding Results, isn't suggesting that you take his title literally. Hugging your customers, he says, has nothing to do with being touchy-feely around them and everything to do with offering them over-the-top service. His advice is hardly groundbreaking. For instance, what rookie employee has not heard the old adages such as "know your customer, think outside the box, have a 'no problem' attitude"? While we've all heard this obvious, age-old advice repeatedly, how many of us can honestly say we've seen it practiced with any level of success where we shop, eat, travel, etc.? That's the point of this book. Everyone knows what should be done to create repeat customers ... very few people do it!

Undercurrent Blues Has A Rhythm of Its Own - Poetry Book Review
On July 17, 2005 Cahuenga Press released Undercurrent Blues by James Cushing (Cahuenga is a cooperative press and Undercurrent Blues is the 14th book they have published since their inception in 1989). The collection includes poems written from 1989 through 1991 and 1997 through 2002. If you're like me, you immediately ask where 1992 through 1996 went. Mr. Cushing explains the skip in time in his Author's Note at the beginning of the book. Basically, the poetry included reflects the first 25 years of his writing life.

The Hushed Willow - A review by Amanda Evans
The Hushed Willow by Lorna Joy Knox nee Ramsamugh is a collection of poetry that will stir your emotions as you embark on a rollercoaster ride through life. As the title suggests the poetry contained in The Hushed Willow is that of emotions and feelings that are kept silent, feelings of sadness, loss, betrayal and hurt. The author has an exceptional gift of portraying such vivid emotions in such few words and is a joy to read. The words of her poetry flow together so gracefully with images from nature jumping up to meet you as you read.

Her Backyard by Doreen Lewis is an adventure, romance

readers within the age group between 30 and 40 will find a

The New Art of War, Tactics, and Power
To rise and flourish in the world, you need to act according to how things really are, and you need to be a good strategist and manager. Most of the tactical information in the world lacks much practical value. However, over the years there have been a few texts written that are infamous for their no holds barred practical content. This includes classics such as Sun Tzu's The Art of War, Niccolo Machiavelli's The Prince, Baltasar Gracian's The Art of World Wisdom, and the works of Han Fei Tzu.
