Gilleland Poetry ? Storoems and Poems - Review
"Retired professor of Microbiology, Harry Gilleland certainly
has a variety of experiences and thought-provoking insights
to share in his latest poetry book, Gilleland Poetry ?
Storoems and Poems. Harry's poetry has appeared at
numerous establishments over the years and he has
authored three books to date. His dedication to and love of
poetry is evident in the way that he writes his work. Evocative and mentally stimulating throughout it's 205
pages this book is sure to strike a cord within any reader.
War experiences and trials of man are mingled with true-life
experiences, fantasy, love and nature. Harry explores the wonders of nature in a beautiful way and
returns to the theme that seemingly runs throughout the
entire book - what it could mean for man. Fun, playful ?
sometimes sad. He has us riding the rapids with him one
moment and learning shocking news about American
history in the next breath. Bluebird Rescue and You Snake in the Grass were two of
my favorites because they invoke awe of nature. But I also
got a real kick out of The Power of Splinters and One Leaf's
Journey, which are clearly parallels to life experiences. I really cried over A Journey Home and Alfred Must Die. The
author's deep endearing love for his wife is both moving
and inspiring. Though this might sound a little corny - I felt I lived a little
more because of reading this book." ISBN#: 1411629272

Free Ebook Offer: The Story of America: Discovery - Article 2
Just think. If the Vikings had made just that little extra effort to stay on in America when they first arrived just over 1000 years ago then the modern history of not only North America but the whole continent might have started 500 years earlier in 992AD rather than 1492AD.
Undercurrent Blues Has A Rhythm of Its Own - Poetry Book Review
On July 17, 2005 Cahuenga Press released Undercurrent Blues by James Cushing (Cahuenga is a cooperative press and Undercurrent Blues is the 14th book they have published since their inception in 1989). The collection includes poems written from 1989 through 1991 and 1997 through 2002. If you're like me, you immediately ask where 1992 through 1996 went. Mr. Cushing explains the skip in time in his Author's Note at the beginning of the book. Basically, the poetry included reflects the first 25 years of his writing life.
Dragon Tales - Book Review
Dragon Tales by Mary C. Fairbanks is truly and entertaining
book, chock full of twenty-four dragon stories. Perfect for

interesting, with a style that left me with the impression they
were created on a computer.

The other day I was surfing the net looking for resources relating to WordTracker. WordTracker is, in my opinion, one of the top two market research tools on the net. The problem is that very few people understand how to harness the real power this service provides. Heck, I'm been stuck in their 'Keyword Universe' section for hours? until now.

The Letter Writer: Book Review
"I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were portrayed
very well. Jack, a multimillionaire who experiences mid-life
crisis and ends up finding meaning to his life ? but it costs
him millions of dollars and emotional pain. Adele is a
heavy-drinking, free-living, multimillionaire with an
independent mind and a sense of humor. Wendy, a single
mother who finds the love of her life. Mixed up educators
playing with their students' lives in their conquest and the
retiring professor who resists this plot has a big secret. A
married advisor carries on an affair with another man and
when he is discovered, he thinks his world has ended.

The Road of Silk: Book Review
"The Road of Silk is an adventure fantasy, with mystical and
magical elements and a high energy feel to it that any
reader will enjoy. Although this novel is written for an adult
audience, I believe anyone over the age of 10 could easily
become immersed in its pages. This is a co-written work
between Matt Afsahi and Barbara Dysonwilliams, who have
written many of their own books in the past. In The Road of
Silk, they successfully combined their wide range of
knowledge in journalism, art, archaeology, literature and
languages into a wonderful piece of work.
Review of Alicia Maldonado: A Mother Lost by Ardain Isma
This modern, aristocratic book portrays real-life events and how hard it is to deal with them, overcome them, or even struggle with them. Such is life, anywhere you put it, in the Caribbean or otherwise. Many people might have problems dealing with the material in this book. But it's involving, shocking, yet mellifluously elegant in its portrayal of a wealthy woman's humble and downtrodden existence. She cannot fathom the dark side of life, and in her pure yet misguided rebellion, she becomes a metaphoric symbol for humanity in general--not to mention impoverished, yet mysteriously happy.

Giving Feedback or Writing Reviews of Bad Stuff
Some book reviewers say that when they don't like a book, they simply don't review it. I'd love to take the easy way out, but when I think about it from a reader's perspective? I want to know when a book sucks. I recently had to give low ratings to a book. I posted it on Amazon and no where else. More people find the book on Amazon than on my site or other places where I post reviews.
